Saguni is an upcoming Tamil political drama film directed by Shankar Dayal. The film features Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles, while Santhanam, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mumtaj and Nassar appear in supporting roles. Production works began in April 2011, while the film is expected to release by June 2012.The soundtrack is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar collaborating with Karthi for second time, audio has 5 songs . The audio launch was initially scheduled to be held on May 11 but postponed to June 2 where tamil version will be launched and telugu version on June 5 . Two audio and video songs from the film was launched in Karthi's birthday May 21
